JERRY HOUGE
September 13, 1959 – March 19, 2017
Jerry was born on September 13, 1959 in Des Moines, Iowa to Joyce and Russell Houge. He moved to Rapid City at one year of age, where he attended Robbinsdale Grade School, Dakota Junior High, and Central High School.
After graduation, he joined the Air Force and served most of his tour in England. After the leaving the Air Force, he returned to Rapid City and worked for Rushmore Amusement until health problems arised.
Jerry loved to fish, hunt, and work on cars. He was the happiest spending time with family, especially his grandkids.
He is survived by his wife, Patti of 31 years; mother, Joyce; five beautiful daughters, Lisa (Mike) Boyd, Alameda, CA, Catherine Taylor, Rapid City, Dannielle (Tim) Kozlik, Rapid City, Steffanie Krueger, Garretson, SD, Jerrine (Mike) Tuschen, Salem, SD; 15 grandkids; 5 great-grandkids; two brother-in-laws; two sister-in-laws; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his father, Russell; maternal grandparents, Charles and Catherine Reed; mother and father-in-law, Willard and Dorothy McMillin; two brother-in-laws, Roger and David McMillin; and several aunts and uncles.
A memorial has been established.
Visitation will be one hour before services at Kirk Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be Friday, March 24, 2017 at 10:00am at Kirk Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Black Hills National Cemetery.

Jerry Edwin Houge, 57, Rapid City, SD passed away March 19, 2017 at Rapid City Regional Hospital with his wife, Patti; his mother, Joyce; and several other family members by his side.
